Award-winning filmmaker Gi Orman, Founder and Creative Director of BiG Productions, is a transcendent storyteller who captivates audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Whether it is a one-minute film for social media or a feature-length 75-minute documentary, Gi’s compelling storytelling sparks thought, conversation, and action.

As a director, producer, and editor of documentaries, promotional films, corporate videos, and digital content, Gi is committed to telling the truth and depicting reality without sugarcoating any subject.

Over the course of more than 15 years, BiG Productions’ films are well-known for their indelible impact. We take pride in producing stories that routinely motivate people to be part of a cause or build a community. 

BiG Productions has produced thousands of films for a wide variety of non-profit, academic/educational, hospital/medical, and corporate clients in the U.S., Israel, Canada, Poland, and worldwide.

BiG’s clients include, among others, One Israel Fund, Yeshiva University, AISH, Chai Lifeline, Project Witness, USHMM - United States Holocaust Museum, CHOP, Emunah of America, Ohel Children’s Home and Family Services, Project Inspire, New York Community Hospital, National Kidney Foundation, and B&H Photo and Video. 

Much like his films, Gi is a connector. With every project he leverages his diverse network of contacts to help his clients access the best resources and meet their goals.

In his spare time, Gi enjoys spending time with his family, biking, football, volunteering for Jewish and Israeli causes, and connecting with people.

Jake Sojcher

Jake Sojcher is a Big Productions’ post-production specialist, with a background as a film editor, motion graphics designer, colorist, and audio engineer. With eyes and ears that are finely tuned for design, and an eagerness to constantly develop new skills and techniques, he is always finding new ways to take projects to the next level.

In his spare time, Jake can be found exploring New York City’s vibrant music scene, or working on his other creative hobbies, such as drawing, photography, playing the drums, and creating Photoshop collage art.

Isaac Shrem

Isaac Shrem is an Emmy Nominated Documentary Television Producer and Film Editor. Isaac's documentaries have received awards from film festivals around the world, aired on prime time television and have been written about in the New York Times. Isaac Shrem's life work thrives on disseminating vibrant stories, unique perspectives and meaningful ideas in the world to help others through film. 

In his spare time, Isaac creates art through long exposure photography, dabbles in drawing, writes short stories, and volunteers his time to help at risk kids and make a difference in the community.
